Swami Vivekananda & Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav-2022

  • Celebration of 75 years of Indian Independence dedicated to Swami Vivekananda & Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

     

     

    We have celebrated 75th year of Indian Independence dedicated to Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and Swami Vivekananda. Brief descriptions of the programs are furnished as follows.

    22.05.22

    Programme on Essay writing and painting competition for the students from Class II to X have been conducted us at Vivekananda Broti Sangha, Tollygunge. The subject for the Essay writing and Drawing competition were as follows.

    1. Unsung Heroes of the Indian freedom struggle
    2. Swami Vivekananda's Vision of an ideal India
    3. Uplift of woman and masses
    4. Raising backward classes through education and culture

    41 Nos. of students have participated in the Essay writing competition and 56 Nos. of students have participated in the Drawing Competition. 33 Nos. of devotees also have attended the programme.

    05.06.22

    Programme on Essay writing and Elocution competition for the students from Class II to XII have been conducted by us at Ramakrishna Math (Gadadhar Ashrama). The subjects for the Essay writing competition were same as above.

    24 Nos. of Students and 12 devotees have attended the programme.

    19.06.22

    Programme on drawing competition for the students from Class II to X have been conducted by us at Ramakrishna Math (Gadadhar Ashrama). 35 Nos. of Students and 5 devotees have attended the programme.

    A youth convention for girl students has been conducted for the students from Class IX to XII at Bhowanipur Girls’ High School. 55 Nos. of students, 5 Nos. of teachers and Devotees attended the programme. Books on Value education & Tiffin provided to all attendees.

    06.08.22

    A youth convention for boy students has been conducted for the students from Class IX to XII at Mitra Institution, Bhowanipore. 300 Nos. of students, 25 Nos. of teachers and Devotees attended the programme. Books on Value education & Tiffin provided to all attendees.

    14.08.22

    Cultural programme and prize distribution ceremony held at Ashutosh Memorial Hall on 14th August 2022 from 8: 00 am to 11:00 am. About 200 Nos. students and 50 devotees have attended the program. 25 Nos. of students qualified in the above mentioned competition have received Prizes and certificates from Swami Ishtarupananda ji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math (Gadadhar Ashrama). The other students those who have attended the programme have also received certificates. The Students have performed dance, Skid on Matangini Hazra, human pyramid with national flag etc. Food packets along with the books on value education were distributed amongst the students and devotees at the end of the programme.
