Átmano mokshártham jagad hitáya cha, ‘For one's own salvation and for the welfare of the world’
A colorful procession at 7 AM had been organised by us comprising about 1800 students from neighbouring schools, devotees and admirers. The Vivek Chetana Rath from Institute of Culture (Golpark), Horse Carriage, Bands, Tabloid vans displaying ashrama activities, stilt walkers and Santhali dance performance by the students in the procession had made the colorful procession more striking.
Thereafter a programme was organised at Harish Park from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M., wherein speeches on the “Life and Teachings of Swami Vivekananda” and a short cultural programme were organized.
Food packets were distributed amongst all the students and participants.
